Darling Cafe

I went here with my friends from interstate. We had a lot of fun here more than any other place. Not just because of the quality of the food but also because of the ambience. We had to wait for an about an hour but we didn't mind. Instead of waiting outside the cafe, we went to check out some places nearby. One of them was the Zumbo dessert place. They have one of the best macarons. I highly recommend them. I particularly like the ones with raspberry, strawberry and caramel flavours.

When we got back to Darling, we still had to wait for a little bit. In the end, it was all worth it.

After enjoying your delicious lunch, you can then go for a shopping spree because Darling cafe is only a few minutes' walk to the iconic Chapel Street. Brands such as Country Road, Marcs, Saba and lots more. There are also choices of restaurants, bars, clubs and other cafes. Trams that go through and intersect Chapel Street are routes 3, 5, 6, 58, 64, 72 and 78.

South Yarra is a great area to stay while in Melbourne. It is walking distance to everything you need.

Little Tommy Tucker

The wait wasn't as long as Darling Cafe but it was certainly worth it. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon on potato rosti, pickled red cabbage with poached eggs and harinda hollandaise sauce on top. It was amazing. The harinda hollandaise sauce was perfectly mixed. And so far, it has the best coffee that met my liking, which I rated 5 out of 5.

My friend had peppermint tea, served with an hour glass to indicate when the peppermint is ready to drink.

The customer service was fantastic. The lady kept filling my glass up with water and I would just keep drinking it. I drink a lot of water all the time.

I will certainly come back here for another brunch and coffee.

Weekend brunch again, this time in the East @zouzcafe

Zouz Cafe

I had a big brunch here. I thought I'll order the 'Big Breakfast' and see how big it is. It was big. If fed me real good. Next time I'm hungry and I want a big breakfast, I would come here.

The ambience here is good. It has a good and spacious setup inside where you can actually relax and enjoy conversations with friends. You wouldn't feel claustrophobic.

The coffee was alright. The service was reasonable.
